Beerwah: Dilapidated road leading to Kanigund village in Beerwah tehsil of Budgam district has put the residents to immense hardships.

The road, which was macdamised two decades ago has now become non-motorable, aggrieved locals, told Curtian Raiser.

The dilapidated road further leads to Kandoora village.

“In case of a medical emergency, we are forced to carry patient on shoulders as drivers refuse to ply on the road, which has now become non-motorable,” a local resident said.

The locals said that they made several representations to authorities concerned but they never bothered to macdamize the road.

The locals said that the village is almost cut off from the rest of district due to non-motorable road.

The residents appealed the adminstration macadamise road at the earliest.
