Ganderbal: Residents of Kawcherwan locals in Ganderbal district last week alleged that officials of PMGSY were in nexus with some “influential people” in construction of a road.
They said that a road was being constructed in the area to benefit some families having a close rapport with officials.
In nexus with PMGSY officials, some influential people construct road for their vested interest, locals alleged.
“Road is constructed in state forest land without proper NOC from the department. Some people have even constructed structures in state forest land,” a local said.
Conservator Forest Srinagar visited Kawcherwan road site. The officer assured locals to look into the issues.
